Beer Solid Shampoo Bar with Rhassoul Clay, Silk and Dead Sea Salt

Beer Solid Shampoo Bar with Rhassoul Clay, Silk & Dead Sea Salt

Having problems with thin, limp hair? Is itchy scalp or dandruff a problem? Then this is the shampoo bar for you.

We use locally crafted dark ale as the entire liquid to make this all natural solid shampoo bar and Bokek Dead Sea Salts to reduce or eliminate itchy scalp and dandruff. This rich and moisturizing bar was created to use as a shampoo but it is great as a body bar also.

Loaded with minerals such as magnesium, potassium and phosphorus, as well as Biotin and Vitamin B, the ale makes hair seem thicker and adds body. The proteins found in malt and hops are traditionally known to help repair damage to the hair shaft and the sucrose present in b eer improves shine by tightening the cuticles of the shaft. The Biotin also works to prevent dandruff along with the Rosemary and Tea Tree Essential Oils that we have added to this shampoo bar.

Dead Sea
According to Bokek, a major supplier of Dead Sea Salts to the industry, dandruff is a an excessive shedding of the skin cells of the scalp resulting in white flakes and itchiness. “Dandruff, although a natural growth process of the skin, is caused by excess oiliness of the scalp and is therefore seasonal. Contrary to common belief that it would be more severe in summer due to sweating or dryness, dandruff is worse during the winter months.

Dandruff is caused by:

 - Use of hairspray and gels
- Overuse of chemical hair treatments
- Use of curling irons and curlers
- Exposure to cold dry weather or dry indoor air
- Tight fitting hats or head scarves
-Stress, anxiety, trauma and tension

Bokek™ Dead Sea Salts contain sulfur in a natural form. In addition, the other minerals assist in detoxifying and cleansing which is vital to restore the balance of cells to reduce the oiliness of the scalp.”

We have also added Rhassoul Clay to this bar. The Rhassoul leaves your hair beautifully clean, smooth, soft and glossy.

Rhassoul clay, mined deep within the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, has been used for over 1400 years as a beauty treatment for skin and hair. It is being rediscovered and used in the most renowned spas throughout the world. Rhassoul clay contains high percentages of potassium, magnesium, silica and other trace minerals. This traditional African hair care ingredient removes excess oils and toxins to leave your hair and body unbelievably clean and detoxified. Once these impurities are removed it exchanges them for the nourishing trace minerals.

Comfrey

As with our other shampoo bars we have infused the luxury oils that we use to make this bar with hair lovin’ herbs. Nettles, Horsetail, Comfrey and Marshmallow Root all work together to give your hair fantastic shine and conditioning.

Last, but not least, we have added hydrolyzed silk proteins to this shampoo bar. Silk aids in moisture retention due to its strong hygroscopic (taking up and retaining water) properties. Silk adds luster, body, and manageability to your hair.

Horsetail

As a note we should let you know as with other natural Dead Sea Salt filled bars, don't expect loads of lather. We don't add any SLS or other chemical sudsing additions to this all natural solid shampoo bar. Wet your hair and rub the bar through your hair until you can tell that the soap is dispersed completely throughout your hair and to the scalp. Then rinse as you normally would.

As with all of our solid shampoo bars we suggest that you use a natural vinegar rinse following your shampoo.

Bars weigh between 5.3-6.3 oz.
